Meet Mary Parsons

Mary Parsons, owner and instructor, is certified as an NRA Chief Range Officer and Instructor, a USCCA Instructor, and by the Illinois State Police to teach CCL classes. Her extensive experience ensures that every student gains confidence in their skills and a thorough understanding of firearm safety.

Our Services

  • Firearm Safety Classes: Instruction focused on proper handling, storage, and safety techniques for firearms.
  • Shooting Training: One-on-one instruction designed to improve shooting accuracy and confidence at our private range in Machesney Park.
  • Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL) Classes: Both new (16 hour) and renewal (3 hour) classes are available. First Shot Firearm Training is certified by the Illinois State Police.
